I used to think that workouts only “counted” if they were a solid 45 minutes of good sweating but lately that’s just not feasible for me. Times are a’changin’! A perspective shift has allowed me to see that any sort of movement still counts towards my value of wellness. Remember your why and the path will be more clear!
Everyday during my lunch break I try to squeeze some walking in, whether it’s a 30 minutes walk or one for only 10 minutes. It’s become a part of my lunch time routine.
To accommodate my goal of movement daily, I’ve altered my environment by always keeping my weights and walking shoes visible.
