What would the best version of yourself look like? What kind of daily routine would you have, what kind of relationships would you have, what kind of space would you have? Deep down, we know the answers and maybe some of us have even experienced this best version, but this can easily get lost in the shuffle of the busy hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. How can we become the best version of ourselves? This sounds like a big feat. And sometimes, it can be. But any change, no matter how big or small, begins with just one step.
The first step in being the best version of yourself is taking care of yourself. It’s realizing what you need. Maybe one day, it’s a long bath with bubbles that smell like lavender. Maybe it looks like a walk, a nap, watching an episode or two of 90 Day Fiancee (anybody else guiltily love that show?). Maybe the next day, it looks like saying no to helping out with that extra project because you know that you’ve already got too much on your plate.
