WonderWell started out as a seed of an idea one February night in 2018 while we were being "oh so cool" on a Friday night. We were having some drinks, putting a puzzle together and talking about love and life.
At the time we were both working at a psychiatric hospital and gravitated towards each other for support in many ways. We talked about different situations with patients and the best approach as occupational therapists. But mostly we talked about podcasts, books, food, exercise, relationships and weekend plans.
We were discussing all the tools we used in our everyday lives to take care of ourselves.
Mentally. Physically. Emotionally. Spiritually.
We realized that we live WonderWell everyday (or least try to) as maintenance towards our own well-being. Then we realized that there are so many others that have the same desire but may want a little support and company along the way. We loved the idea of a community that brings people like you and us together. A community that connects, shares and brings accountability to taking care of ourselves.
From there we jumped in with both feet. Full steam ahead and haven't stopped since.
We are on a mission to grow a community of like-minded folks who understand the importance of putting themselves first so they can spread their love and light to others.
